Our Very Merry Christmas!

Once again this year we headed up to DC to spend Christmas with my wonderful family.  It always feels like exactly where I should be.  Our week was full of making so many wonderful memories.  I got to catch up with friends, we went to the gym almost every day, ate a ton of good food, drank wine, visited with neighbors, opened an abundance of gifts and enjoyed the comfort that only being surrounded by family can bring.  I didn't pack my nice camera, so these slightly fuzzy iphone pictures will have to do!  I hope you all had a wonderful, Merry Christmas too!

We were on the way out the door to the airport when we remembered we never took a picture together!! I quickly set up my iphone timer and while the angle and lighting isn't the best I'm so glad we managed to get a couple with us all together.

Zoo Lights

Animals, Christmas lights, my sweet baby, and our friends. Could there be anything better?!
Paxton loved all of the animals!!! He is a child after my own heart.  He loved petting them and feeding them.  The lights display was really over the top awesome and totally exceeded my expectations! So much fun!

Christmas card photos attempt #3

I think I've given up on taking that "perfect" photo at this point. And these attempts have made me really enjoy breaking out my big camera again.  And I think I've totally gone to the beach more times this winter than I did all summer.  Enjoy these pictures of my sweet, squishy, beach babe!

It's the Holiday Season!

Christmastime is all that more spectacular when you see it through the eyes of a small child.  Paxton is all about Christmas, Santa, reindeer, lights, carols and so clearly he is my child.  We are in full holiday cheer mode over here and I just love to see his joy and excitement.  Every day we go around and turn on the multitude of Christmas lights and it's always "wow!" "pretty!" and "tree!".  It's the best.  Really.

Christmas Card photos attempt #2

Being a photographer is hard.  How do they get the kids to smile??  This time started with a lot of screaming, but ended up with me rolling around in the sand with Pax, doing some beach yoga, and we both ended up having a lot of fun.  But did we get the perfect Christmas card quality photo?? No.
