Guam!

Man alive, I just had the most wonderful vacation with my husband in Guam!  He is on a mission to spoil me rotten, I swear.

We spent 4 days in absolute luxury, and I loved every minute!  We stayed at the Outrigger Resort in a great location, right on the beach and right in the middle of amazing shopping.  (There was a Coach and other high end stores in the lobby.)  There were great restaurants within a few minutes walk, in fact you didn't really even have to leave the hotel at all because they had great restaurants and a fun bar with live music right there.

The beach is so beautiful! Tropical paradise.  We rented a couple of chairs and an umbrella and a tube for me, for $40 you could use any of the beach toys all day, like paddle boats, rafts, and such.  I spent most of my time floating around the pristine bay on a tube looking through the clear water at tropical fish and coral.  Afterward we went over to the beach bar and got some yummy tropical drinks and just relaxed.  Usually our vacations are go, go, go, so this was a nice change of pace!

The hotel has a really fun lagoon type pool with a waterfall and water slide.  We had to try and not take out a kid at the bottom of the water slide, but we had a ball.

That evening we caught the sunset over at Two Lovers Point before heading over to a really fun beach bar where we enjoyed (probably too many) drinks and enjoyed the DJ and a couple of live bands.

The next day we went to a crazy huge champagne brunch buffet.  I don't typically like buffet's, but this one at our hotel was totally over the top and might have been the nicest one I've ever been to with the super fancy food, insane amount of options, and a really good live band.

After our relaxing late breakfast we went to the spa at our resort where Brad got a hot stone massage and I got a spa mani and pedi.  So pampered!

Next, we went out and did a little window shopping at all the fancy stores, or so I thought.  We went to Tiffany's and Brad reminded me our 5 year anniversary is coming up and he suggested I try on some bands.  I found a beautiful, delicate band with little diamonds all around and Brad got me my anniversary present a few months early.  I adore it.

This amazing day was topped off with getting all fancied up and going to an incredible steak and lobster (chicken and lobster for me!) 5 course dinner.  We got a bottle of red, and enjoyed our amazing dinner and felt like a king and queen.  I don't care how many times I get to go to fancy dinners like this, I swear I will never get used to it.  I actually got close to (happy) tears at one point during dinner, thinking about our day, how lucky I am. It is just too much.

I definitely felt super fortunate and lucky to get to do such an extravagant trip (once again!) with my husband who loves me so much.

Wow, loved reading about your trip! We were thinking of taking Space A there next summer, but weren't sure if there was much to do. Glad to know it's a nice vacation spot!
